Old Fashioned Pancake Recipe
Pancake is what we had for breakfast today. We usually eat rice for breakfast but today, since my husband want pancake, I had to make some. I remember my aunt used to make some for us for snacks when I was young and she put lots of sugar in it so that it will be sweet but since my husband doesn’t like sweets, I only put one teaspoon of sugar. Anyway, here is the recipe:
1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tsps Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 cup Fresh Milk
Instructions:
Sift the flour then put it in a bowl together with baking powder, salt, sugar. Mix together then add milk and egg then mix it again until the ingredients are totally mixed or whatever. Heat a non-stick pan then place a some butter. Using a cup, place about 1/4 of the mix to the pan and cook until light brown.
For sugar, just add more if you want it sweet and use evaporated milk instead of fresh milk if you prefer. I was supposed to add some vanilla but we don’t have a stock so maybe next time, I’ll add one.
I used cheese whiz as toppings since I forgot to buy some strawberry jam.
Makes about 7 pancakes. Next time, I’ll post some photos when I make one again.
