Long weekend
It’s Friday and it’s the start of a long weekend! Monday is a holiday, since it is National Heroes Day. Hmm, I wonder what to do? I think we will just be staying at home since for sure, there are lots of people that will be flocking the malls.
I will most probably be just ready the manga I’m currently hooked up, which is Hana Kimi. I haven’t seen the Korean series yet though. I just got curious that the story was from a manga. I just happen to saw the manga while looking for a new one to read.
That and catching up with blogging will be what will keep me busy this weekend, aside from taking care of my daughter and I’ll try to do some cooking as well.

Venus Raj, No Major Major Problem
Miss Philippines Venus Raj has been in the news, even in the US because of her answer during the Miss Universe 2010 pageant. “Major major” is now the talk everywhere, even on Facebook. It’s Miss Mexico who was crowned Miss Universe but the one that’s been in the news is Venus.
Check out the video below from ABC News who’s more interested with her than the winner. The question, according to them, has been asked in a lot of job interviews. Is there really a perfect answer?
Well, maybe Venus really didn’t have any mistakes since she might really have been living a very simple life. Not everyone has a complicated life though.

What I’ve been waiting for has happened
The day I’ve been waiting for has finally happened! I got the phone I’ve been waiting for weeks! Not only that, I was able to get an ultrasound the same day!
The results both did turn out well thought he ultrasound was supposed to be on August 28th. Why did it happened yesterday then? That’s because I’m having severe pain on the left side of my waist and thought it could be worse so I called my doctor and she had be checked. Good thing the result is okay and I’m so happy about it, more than when I got the cellphone.
So far, I wasn’t able to get extensive use of the phone since my daughter is the one playing with it. I don’t think I would be able to check out the functionalities unless she’s sleeping. Oh well, the only thing I’m waiting for now is payday!
