Angry Birds, My New Favorite Game

One of my new favorite game on Android is Angry Birds. I’ve stopped playing Bejeweled Blitz totally on Facebook, but then, a new addiction has arrived. My husband was the one who downloaded it first since he brings my cellphone at the office during weekdays.

He does it since my daughter is addicted to playing games on my cellphone. Thus, I’m using my old phone and he brings the Android phone at the office. We allowed our daughter to play games only on weekends.

Anyway, Angry Birds is about birds who are trying to take back their eggs from pigs who stole them. There are different kinds of birds which can destroy specific structures on which those pigs hide.

The goal of the game is to use those birds as projectiles to destroy the pigs. I’m only on level 2 but the game is so addicting. My daughter is also addicted to it and she’s the one who taught me some tricks too! But she did something which made her daddy mad, he he. She uninstalled the game so when hubby was about to play with it, he couldn’t find the game anymore, LOL.

He has no choice but to download the game again.

This got to stop

This got to stop! I’ve been in front of the computer the whole day every weekend playing with you. From the morning I wake up until the moment before I sleep, you’re the one open on my browser. I couldn’t even get to blog because of you. My husband even got mad at me and told me to stop.

How can I end this addiction? Maybe I have to force myself not to open Facebook so that I won’t be tempted to play. I’ll just watch movies or blog instead of playing.

When should I stop? I’ll force myself to stop now. Bye Bejeweled Blitz! Well, until you’re available on Samsung Galaxy.

Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook – It’s Addicting!

Have you played Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook?  I stopped playing games for a long time but just last week, I don’t know what got into me but I opened Bejeweled Blitz and started playing again.

The game is only good for one minute but you can earn points and use those to buy some “boosts”.  There are about six “boosts” and these are mystery gem, detonator, scrambler, free multiplier and 5 seconds.   Among the six, what I use usually are the detonator, scrambler and mystery gem.  I don’t like the 5 seconds since the additional time is negligible.  Sometime, I don’t buy some boosts since I usually got a high score without using any.

These are the kind of games I am addicted to play.  I hope there would also be Snood available on Facebook since it’s my all time favorite.  Anyway, I have to stop playing since it is really a distraction, LOL.  I sleep late again because of this and I might get tempted to play other games again so I better stop.  What do I need to do? Don’t open Facebook totally?

Manny Pacquiao in The Sims 3

And now I started to create celebrity or famous persons in The Sims 3.  The first one I have created is Manny Pacquiao hehehe.  Why Pacquiao?  Because he is the current No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world and me, being a Filipino is proud of him.  Here is Manny Pacquiao in the Sims 3 – it’s hard to create him in the game LOL and it’s the best I could do.
