Ready for School

My daughter will be going to school next month. It was supposed to be on summer but we found out while visiting different preschools that some allows kids to be enrolled anytime during the whole school year. Thus, I’ll be enrolling my DK for February. She’s also excited to go to school, bugging me about it always.

It’s too soon but hubby and I think she’s ready. It’s me who isn’t ready yet, LOL. But anyway, she really likes to go to school and so be it. I have to think now of snacks to prepare for her. It will only be a three-day school day for now though but most likely on June, we’ll enroll her in a regular five-day school day.

Loves Ponies

My daughter loves to watch My Little Pony. She watches videos of its episodes in YouTube everyday. She even has a collection of the ponies and know each one by name. When McDonalds offer My Little Ponies as happy meal toys, she asked if she can have it.

She wants to ride a real pony and is asking me where can we see one. I told her there’s a pony in Baguio or Tagaytay but the place is too far and we couldn’t go on vacation yet. I just told her she don’t want to wear hair clips and hats anyway so what more if it’s horse riding helmets (I told her it’s required if she wants to ride one). She said she’s willing to put on helmet if she’s going to ride a pony. I just told her when the babies are bigger, we can go to Tagaytay as it’s nearer than Baguio.

That’s how she love ponies. I wonder if she’ll still be like than when she grows older?

Printing Coloring Books

My daughter’s crayons need to be replaced. She has completed working on her coloring books too but she’s still asking me to buy her more. Is it cheaper to buy or better to print online? There are lots of coloring books I’ve seen online. I just don’t know if it will be more costly to print since ink cartridges are expensive. Maybe I can find cheap ink cartridges online so that I can print the illustrations I find interesting. She’s asking me to print Fancy Nancy, Dora the Explorer, Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Ponies. That’s a lot to print, isn’t it? I think I need to replace her crayons too. But I’m happy that she’s learned how to color well. I’m glad she likes doing activities like this.

Does Your Kid Have ADHD?

Are you worried or would like to know if your kid have Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)? Me personally am worried and would like to know as early as possible so that necessary treatment can be done. I’ve read from an ABC News article about mirror movements reflecting ADHD in kids and tried it with my daughter. I’m glad she doesn’t have it, but of course only trained professionals can really determine if a child have ADHD.
