Does Your Kid Have ADHD?
Are you worried or would like to know if your kid have Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)? Me personally am worried and would like to know as early as possible so that necessary treatment can be done. I’ve read from an ABC News article about mirror movements reflecting ADHD in kids and tried it with my daughter. I’m glad she doesn’t have it, but of course only trained professionals can really determine if a child have ADHD.

Starfall for Kids
My daughter loves to surf in her computer. She loves to browse different sites such as youtube for animated videos, fisher-price and a lot more. But the one she likes most is Starfall.
The site really helped her learn the alphabets and refined her motor skills and helped her use the mouse. She could also read a little and associate the objects with their beginning letters.
Her favorite, as well as mine, is Peg the Hen. She likes the melody and she likes changing the hen’s color to pink, but I like it purple, he he.
Anyway, I do hope she’ll be able to learn how to read because of this, but of course she will be able to with guidance.

Campaign Against Child Violence on Facebook
A new Facebook campaign is ongoing and this time, it’s a campaign against child violence. I’ve read in an article that supposed to be, from November 22 – November 29, people are encouraged to change user profiles on Facebook to a cartoon from one’s childhood. I’ve seen my friends changing their profile pictures to their cartoon characters and posting this on their wall:
Change your facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until monday there should be no human faces on facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is to STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN.
I’ve just seen it today so perhaps the campaign is still ongoing. If ever I am to change my profile picture, it would be Care Bears. I love Care Bears and I missed watching them. I also think it’s better to have Care Bears picture than my existing profile photos, LOL!

Halloween Costume Ideas 2010
Have you made plans for this coming Halloween? Do you already have Halloween costume to wear for any party you are going to attend to? There are lots of costume one can choose to wear. It depends on how game or how eager are you to dress up for a party this Halloween.
For the ladies:
- If you are game enough to be crazy this Halloween, you can try wearing your own version of Lady Gaga meat dress, or any other Lady Gaga style of clothing.
- You can also try an Avatar costume or Star Wars’ Princess Leia slave costume.
- Usual costumes such as Princess, Wonder Woman, Catwoman and other movie characters will still work, for sure
For the guys:
- Edward Cullen or Jacob Black look
- Pirates of the Carribean costume
- Spongebob costume
- Police costume
For the kids
- Little Red Riding Hood
- Fairy tale costumes – Snow White, Cinderella, Belle
- Superhero costumes – Batman, Superman, Spiderman
- Animal costumes – bee, butterfly, ladybug
You might want to checkout the party you are going to if they have a theme such as if it’s going to be a movie-themed Halloween costume, fairy tale themed Halloween costume or Scary-themed Halloween costume.
