New Job

One of my college friends will be starting on a new job come new year. I’m not sure what her position will be in her new job but she’s currently working as a QA manager in her current job. She’s also proficient in other QA tools and other reporting tools like salesforce reporting and other BI tools. With her skills, it won’t be hard to find another job.

Anyway, she said she’ll be treating me when she gets the job. It’s been a while since I last saw her. We have a lot to talk about, lots of news about each other. I hope I can see her during this holiday or early next year.

Can’t Wait

I’ll be taking up driving lessons early next year. I can’t wait to learn how to drive and go wherever I want to go, especially when hubby is feeling lazy to go out. I’m totally a beginner so I’ll be taking up the 30-day course at a driving school. I wish it will be that easy to drive and I’ll be a bit expert by the time my daughter goes to school next year. I’ll be the one to send and fetch her from school so I really need to learn how to drive. I think there won’t be a problem except that I don’t have sense of directions most of the time. I have to work on that and must memorize the roads, one ways, u-turn slots and the like. Hubby is thinking of subscribing to a gps vehicle tracking but I told him that’s too much. I told him I’ll learn in time.

What Lights Can Do to Our Home

I like a well-lit home. Having a well-lit home makes one’s mood happy. I admit I don’t like the dark. Thus, during night time, I always turn on the chandelier in the living room. But I’m thinking of getting a new one because the current one we have needs a replacement already. I want different layers of light this time, an ambient light, which indirectly illuminates the room and some spot lights. If possible, I also want to include lights from a stone too.

I’ve been looking at different designs of lights that will fit our living room and also in other parts of the house. I am thinking of Sea Gull Lighting or Sea Gull Chandeliers for our living room then Sea Gull Bathroom Lighting for our bathroom. I’ve been wanting to redesign our place even before I got pregnant so that it will be more cozy. I’ll feel more at home and makes my mood lift up whenever I fell down. The kids like lights too!

Now, I have lots of time to look for nice designs. I just have to convince my husband about my plans because he’s my financier. Hopefully he will agree so that I can start implementing it.

Food Art

I’ve been browsing different sites on bento making. I want to try this with my daughter. I’ve been searching for stores where I can buy bento accessories and found out there’s Saizen where I can shop. I just can’t go to Robinson’s Galleria or Robinson’s Place Manila where it has branches. I told my daughter we’d go there before the month ends. Oh well, I hope I could fit this hobby with my schedule.
