New Girlfriend

My nephew broke up with his girlfriend of more than 5 years a few months ago. When his mom found out about this, she immediately looked for girls his age he could date (what a supportive mom she is, LOL). She matched her officemate who’s 23 years old to my nephew. After a few months, they are now a couple. I met the girl just before Valentine’s because I asked my nephew to attend the seminar for her cousin’s baptism. He brought Nicca along. She’s pretty and nice!

I even asked them where would they go for Valentine’s and what would be her valentine’s gifts for boyfriend (I know I’m nosy, LOL). She told me it’s a secret he he.

Anyway, I’m glad my nephew’s got a new girlfriend. Oh and his brother’s got a new girlfriend too!

No Time

Being a mom of three, I don’t have much time of my own, except when I need to go out for some errands. Even if the kids have babysitters, I am still struggling having my “me” time. Sometimes, I even find it hard to browse or make a post. How much more on watching movie in theaters? Thus, the only option so that I can get updated in the latest movies is to buy discount cds whenever I go to the mall. I tend to collect movies so that I can watch if I have time in the future.

Time flies by so fast, but I still wish the kids are bigger.

So Many Wants

I’ve been wanting to buy a lot of things – dresses, shirts, shoes. Too bad I can’t shop now. There are many things that need to be attended to first like the babies’ baptism, my eldest’s tuition (she’ll start school on June) and a lot more. Thus, all my wants have to be set aside for now. But I’m thinking to buy gold as an investment or probably buy stocks. That way the earnings that I’ll earn will be used to buy our family’s “extra” wants. Meaning, we can buy things that we really don’t need.

Oh well, I must look for extra income, maybe?

Dream Home

What’s your dream home? Do you want a simple house with a small house area but with a big lawn? Do you want a resort-type house? Me, my dream home is a house in the middle of at least a 500 square meter land, with a patio where we can have a picnic during special occasions. I also want a dirty kitchen located outside of the house and a place where the kids can play. But this home is just a dream for now.

We need to save up for that and it would take years before everything materializes. We have thought of having a loan but don’t know the ins and outs of applying for one. A friend said that before we apply, we should ask for the rates. For example, if we are planning to have a VA home loan, we must know the VA Home Loan Rates as well as some loan facts. That way, we would know if we can afford to have a loan.

I can’t wait to have our own house. Now that our contract here in the place we live in is about to expire, I can’t help imagining living in our own house next. Oh well, it’s just a dream for now but it will come true in the future.
