No Insecticide Please!
It has been going on for the past two weeks. Baygon can be smelled in our unit beginning in the afternoon after lunch. It’s the reason why last week was stressful for me and my family. My husband got sick and my eldest daughter was hospitalized because of asthma attack due to that.
I asked our neighbor units and they said they aren’t using any. I also went up the upper floor and knocked in each unit asking if they were spraying baygon or any other insecticide. They said no, they don’t use it.
The smell continued the next days which prompted me to call the admin office. They said they will have the engineering visit our unit but up to now, no one does. It’s just frustrating that they don’t seem to care about the occupants. I even told them that my daughter was hospitalized because of it but they don’t seem to bother.
I think it’s time for us to move to another place. Maybe next year since it’s hard to move out this time. I just hope those who are spraying baygon will stop it.
Cannot get money from Western Union
I asked our helper to receive my money from Western Union since I couldn’t get it myself. I gave her an authorization letter with my IDs to give to an agent hoping they would allow her to receive on my behalf.
She then went to Western Union, but the agent won’t let her receive my money, telling her that it is in their policy that only the name specified with the MTCN number could receive. She then asked, “what if the receiver is at the hospital?” and the agent replied that if that’s the case, the sender should transfer the name from the original receiver to the one who can get it for her.
I thought they are just power tripping so I called their hotline. Sadly, a CSR informed me the same details as the agents did. I might just have to ride a cab just to get the money or else, I won’t be able to get it and it will be back to the sender at the end of the month.
Globe Really Sucks
Another rant for Globe from me here. Just last month, I posted that Globe’s Reward Promo sucks. Now, it’s their system in general. I received my billing statement which is due on October 1st and I was shocked to see it’s waaaayy past my account limit, which is PHP2,500.00.
What’s more. I was shocked that they charged the cellphone I got from their reward promo, which I had already paid for at their Greenbelt Business Center.
I called their customer service and they said the payment wasn’t posted yet. What I don’t understand is why it hasn’t been posted. They asked for the receipt number and had me faxed it the next day and so I did.
I called their customer service and they said they didn’t receive my fax yet, which was sent an hour ago. They asked me to send another one to be sure and so I did again. I called again after an hour and voila! They haven’t received it yet.
I am really pissed that they couldn’t find the receipt that I faxed and the CSR I talked to asked me to fax again! Grrr! I told them that how many times I fax the receipt, they wouldn’t find it unless they know how to retrieve it on their electronic fax system. The CSR asked me to wait and thirty minutes had passed and nothing happened. I then asked for her supervisor and she said that no one was available. I told her I’m willing to wait and so I wait for another 30 minutes. During that time, I used my husband’s phone to call their customer service again and told about my billing complain. She couldn’t find what I faxed at first but after a few minutes, she was able to! She then processed my complain.
The other CSR I was talking to finally told me a supervisor is already available and so I talked to her and told her how they couldn’t find what I faxed while the other CRS I just talked to found it.
I just do hope that Globe would do something about their system. I would cut my line after my contract has expired. Most probably I’ll switch to Smart.
Globe Loyalty Reward Promo Sucks
I was supposed to get my new phone last August 15th but up to now, I haven’t got it. Why? Because according to Globe’s customer relations, the store where I was supposed to pick my new phone, which is supposed to be Samsung Galaxy S i9000, hasn’t responded yet. The branch is Globe’s Flagship Store in Greenbelt 4.
Everytime I call their customer relations, they would tell me that they will send an email to Greenbelt. I would always tell them that they have told me the same thing over and over again but no response yet. They even told me that I will get a text message when the phone is already available but up to now, no text messages.
I went to Globe last August 15th and they said that the phone should be delivered on the afternoon so I already thought that they would inform me yesterday, Monday that the phone is ready for pickup.
Maybe, I should have asked the phone to be delivered but I doubt if it will also be delivered on the day they told me. I also shouldn’t have gotten the loyalty reward promo since I think they prioritize new subscribers. Most probably, they have the phone ready for new subscribers but for those who availed the loyalty rewards would have to wait.
Oh well, I am thinking of just getting a prepaid kit for the phone then cut my old line just to prove a point to them, if ever I go there in Greenbelt 4 and apply for a new one and see the phone ready.
