Christmas Food to Eat

“Simbang Gabi“, or Mass at Dawn will begin soon and lots of bibingka or puto-bumbong will be available everywhere on the streets.
Bibingka (rice cake) and puto-bumbong (purple colored sweet rice cooked in hallow bamboo tubes) are the common food to eat after attending the Mass at Dawn. Even if they are now available at some five-star hotels and eat-all-you-can restaurants, personally, I think it is still better to eat it when bought on the streets.
I haven’t eaten those food for years since I don’t attend Mass at Dawn anymore. My goal this year is to eat some even if I can’t attend the mass. It’s better to eat it and drink some tea after, by the way.
