Holidays this December 2010
I’m excited this month, not only because it’s Christmas season, but also because there are lots of holidays. Lots of time to spend with my family and no work to think of. What are the non-working days for this month of December?
- December 24 – Christmas Eve
- December 25 – Christmas Day (some have work from Mondays to Saturdays)
- December 27 – Rizal Day (originally December 30 but moved by former Pres. GMA to Dec 27)
- December 31 – New Year’s Eve
Some companies have a shut down for one week so that the employees can spend more times with their families. These days with no work are paid. For December 27, 2010, I’m not sure if Pres. Noynoy Aquino will follow the GMA’s former declaration but if we are going to follow what he did during Bonifacio Day, then December 27, 2010 will remain a holiday.
Are you planning to take a long vacation this Christmas? I won’t be taking a leave this time since we are not going out of town. My in-laws will be the one to come over (with lasagna and baked ribs) and since I couldn’t go with them, my hubby and my daughter will be the one to go with them. I do hope I could go with them, but I really can’t, due to my condition.
