October 25, 2010 – a Non-working Holiday
It will be Barangay Election this coming October 25, 2010 and because of this, Malacañang has announced that this day will be a non-working holiday. Yay! I couldn’t wait for this day, not because I’m excited to vote, but another rest day!
The campaign has started and even the most popular social networking site Facebook is now being used by relatives, candidates themselves to campaign.
I’ve been seeing profile pictures of my former classmates, some are just tagged with the pictures of the candidates. Some of my classmates are running for Kagawad and one has a husband who is running for Kapitan. I’ve realized that I’m really old because of this – my classmates, running for a position?
