Being Safe
Security of our home is important and nowadays, we can’t be sure if those who are knocking at our door is really what we thought they are. There are news everywhere about robbery inside the house, even holding the ones living inside as hostages.
My family and I live in a building where there are guards that roam the place, but there are still unknown persons that can slip through their eyes and some unit owners complain that they lost valuable items. They are complaining how could this happen if there are security measures in the building and they even thought that the guards have something to do with what is happening.
Because of this, my husband is thinking of getting a rifle or something to protect us since he’s usually out most of the time. He told me I should know how to handle a rifle if ever but I told him I think I won’t be able to use it because I will surely panic, LOL. Anyway, knowing him, if he’ll get one, it will only be a small one but he will also buy a complete accessories such as .22 shortammo or rcbs the grand mounting plate. I do hope we won’t have the need to use it. Besides, we have a peephole and we don’t open the door if we know we aren’t expecting someone, but I’ll just agree what hubby plans to do with our home’s security.
