Hospitalized
I had some bleeding last Sunday and I was really nervous that time since I know something was wrong. I called my OB about it and she said that I had to be confined for observation. An ultrasound was performed first to check the babies’ condition. They are good though but I was diagnosed with placenta previa totalis.
This means that the placenta is blocking the cervix and I would have to be on bed rest until the placenta goes up. I spent 3 days at the hospital so I also missed work.
I was on complete bed rest with no bathroom privileges when I was at the hospital. Good thing my OB allowed be to go to the bathroom whenever I have to when I got home.
I hope at the next ultrasound that my placenta would go up. If not, I don’t have a choice but to be on bed rest until the day I give birth.
I’m very thankful that we are allowed to work from home in the current company I worked for and that we have only to go twice a week. But going to the office, I can’t do and and my employer understands the situation. I’ll just give my hundred percent while working so he won’t get disappointed.
Nothing is impossible with the Lord and I pray that it won’t be a placenta previa anymore during the next US. I’m very much willing to be on bed rest as long as my babies are okay and that they would be born without complications.
