It’s Summer!
Can you feel the heat? It’s summer and many are looking forward to their summer vacation, especially the kids. Summer means sleeping late for the kids, having vacation at the beach or traveling to our favorite summer destination. Where are you planning to go? Planning to go to Boracay, Palawan or Bohol?
For sure, many have already booked their reservations at hotels as early as three months ago. If not, you should reserve one now as many might already be fully booked, especially since Holy Week is near. Many people will flock Boracay, my favorite summer destination.
While many are planning to hit the beach, many prefer to stay at home and just do other stuff like clean the house, enroll their kids in a summer workshop or make their summer worthwhile by having summer jobs. Whatever it is, summer will surely worthwhile.
Anyway, summer for me and my family this year will just be staying at home since we have newborn babies. We cannot go to Boracay like last year. Definitely, we will be at the beach next year and I can’t wait for that. But right now, I’ll just drool at the pictures I’ve been seeing in Facebook of my friends at the beach.

Looking forward to Boracay Vacay
It is less than two weeks and my family and I are going to Boracay! Yay! We are so excited about it that we’re having a countdown, hehe. There are lot of firsts in this vacation. One is that it will be Iris’ first time to enjoy the beach. It will be first time we are going on vacation with both our parents. It will be my mom’s first time to ride a plane. It will be my mom, dad, in-laws’ first time to go to Boracay so we are all looking forward to this vacation.
We are “almost” prepared for this and we have bought the necessary things we need to bring and since it will be our parents’ first time to go to Boracay, we want to give them the best place we could afford and for them to enjoy their stay.
I’m also excited that Iris can play with the sand and swim at the beach. We already bough a pail with shovel, strainer and rake for her to play with the sand. She has also a floating device with umbrella so that she won’t get that dark, lol.
I can’t wait for it, good thing it is a five-day vacation but it still isn’t enough. Anyway, I’ll try to post some pics here from our Boracay trip. 13 days to go! woot!
